About the Role

The Part Time Kitchen Staff/Cook will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen at the Denali Way store in Augusta, Maine. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet our standards for taste and presentation, while adhering to food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace, contributing to a positive environment.

Additionally, the Cook will be expected to assist in menu planning and inventory management, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and readily available. Ultimately, this role is vital in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers, fostering their loyalty and satisfaction.

Shift & Hours

We are currently hiring for a part time kitchen prep, Saturday & Sunday hours will be discussed during interview.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
  • Assist in menu planning and inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
