Pay range: $21.50 – $36.55 per hour. Pay is based on factors such as labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. All About Visual MerchandisingThe Visual Merchandiser supports a great guest experience by ensuring visual moments meet company guides and visual standards, driving sales and inspiring guests. They are experts in visual presentation, elevated merchandising techniques, mannequin styling, mapping, fixture blocking, and in‑store marketing (ISM).
Skills & Experience- Retail business fundamentals – department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotion strategies.
- Planning and communicating daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and sales goals.
- Training and developing team members to improve visual merchandising acumen.
- Leading visual merchandising strategy and implementing visual standards.
- Plan daily/weekly visual workload with leader guidance to include sales goals, events, and promotions.
- Execute weekly visual assessments and partner with leaders to improve store visual execution and guest experience.
- Assess and guide execution of visual standards across the store to elevate presentations.
- Support the execution of the company visual merchandising strategy and ISM across all relevant areas.
- Validate execution of all visual presentations, partnering with leaders.
- Set overhead spotlights to highlight key merchandising presentations.
- Solve merchandising issues and adjust sets to create inspiring presentations.
- Teach team visual standards, signing and affordability strategies through daily interactions.
- Maintain organization of backroom space and update signing tools and fixtures.
- Support team onboarding, continuous learning, and close knowledge gaps through training and hands‑on experiences.
- Demonstrate inclusivity, authenticity, respect, and equitable experiences.
- Follow ethical conduct, safety, and compliance practices.
- Work safely, comply with policies, and report hazards.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks.
- Engage guests when needed to solve specific needs.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of visual merchandising experience.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Business acumen and creativity to inspire guests and drive sales.
- Strong understanding of trends and style reflective of our brand.
- Lead and influence store teams to follow visual merchandising processes.
- Communicate with multiple devices, operate handheld scanners, and other technology.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and colleagues.
- Effective communication skills.
- Remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment, accomplishing multiple tasks within established time frames.
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues.
- Operate a Work Assist Vehicle (WAV) and pallet jack.
- Interpret instructions, reports, and information.
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
- Climb ladders as required.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, with occasional lifting up to 44 pounds.
- Maintain a flexible schedule and reliable attendance.
- Remain mobile throughout the scheduled shift.
