A Day in the Life at Lansing: CDL Driver

CDL Driver’s day begins around 7:00 AM and ends at approximately 4:30 PM. The role involves no weekend work (hours may vary by location).

CDL Driver Responsibilities
  • Serve as a front‑line Lansing representative while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Split time between making deliveries and working in the warehouse.
  • Use a Moffett forklift to make deliveries.
  • Interact with customers and crews at job sites.
  • Keep warehouse clean and orderly.
  • Perform other functions such as cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc., as needed.
CDL Driver Qualifications
  • Valid CDL B (or

    A) license required.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Experience operating a Moffett forklift.
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team.
  • Willingness to lift boxes weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Experience with building products is very helpful.
  • Strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
  • At least one year of driving experience.
  • Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck.
