Project Coordinator

Role Overview
We are looking for an organised and proactive Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of multiple IT projects.

The role will involve working closely with developers, QA teams, project managers, and stakeholders to track project activities, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of software development processes, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and project coordination practices.

This role is suitable for someone looking to grow into a Project Manager / IT Project Management position.

Key Responsibilities

· Support end-to-end coordination of multiple IT implementation and development projects.

· Assist with project planning, sprint planning, task allocation, and delivery timelines.

· Track project tasks, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and deadlines.

· Coordinate with developers, QA teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

· Conduct regular follow-ups with team members to ensure assigned activities are completed on time.

· Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, risks, or blockers.

· Maintain project trackers, action items, risk logs, and dependency trackers.

· Prepare and circulate project status reports, meeting minutes, and action summaries.

· Schedule and coordinate internal and client project meetings.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.

· Support Project Managers in managing project scope, schedules, risks, and deliverables.

· Assist with Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

· Ensure project information and task statuses are regularly updated in project management tools.

· Escalate delays, risks, and unresolved issues to the Project Manager or Delivery Manager when required.

· Support testing, UAT, deployment, and project handover activities.

· Follow established project governance and delivery processes.

Required Skills & Experience

· 3+ years of experience in project coordination, IT project support, or a similar role.

· Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

· Understanding of Agile, Scrum, Hybrid, or other project delivery methodologies.

· Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Zoho Projects or similar platforms.

· Strong task tracking and follow-up skills.

· Ability to manage timelines, priorities, dependencies, and multiple project activities.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Good stakeholder coordination and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to prepare project reports, meeting notes, trackers, and documentation.

· Proactive approach to identifying and following up on project risks and blockers.

· Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
