Senior Accountant for Financial Reporting

Elevate the financial reporting framework as a Senior Accountant with our client, a growing organization in Canada and the United States. You'll establish processes and enhance controls to support corporate finance operations.

In this key role, reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will build scalable reporting frameworks, handle month-end and year-end closings, and support financial consolidations. This position demands expertise in journal entries, reconciliations, and preparing financial results for multiple entities, with a focus on accuracy and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Corporate Controller in enhancing financial reporting framework

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes

• Prepare and consolidate financial results across multiple entities

• Conduct variance analysis for management reporting

• Ensure accuracy of financial information across legal entities

Requirements:

• CPA designation required (candidates nearing completion considered)

• Minimum five years in accounting or financial reporting

• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and reconciliations

• Familiarity with consolidation software and ERP systems

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
