Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

Manage collections, payment applications, and reconciliations as an Accounts Receivable Specialist supporting Canadian and U.S. operations on a six-month contract.

This experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist supports a finance team within the consumer goods sector. The hands-on work covers payments, invoices, credits, collections, and customer accounts. Strong communication, organization, Excel, and accounting software skills support accurate, timely account administration.

• Assist with daily accounts receivable activities and payment applications
• Follow up with customers on outstanding balances and collections
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Process customer credits and return or credit requests
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and supporting schedules

• Two or more years of accounts receivable experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfort communicating with customers about outstanding balances
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Good Excel and general accounting software skills
