The Auto Body Refinisher’s primary responsibility is refinishing to ensure a quality repair of each customer’s vehicle. The Auto Body Refinisher mixes paint, colour matches and refinishes each vehicle. The Auto Body Refinisher works with all team members in achieving the repair facility’s KPIs.

• Ensures consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
• Inspects body and prep repairs for deficiencies that may impact the quality of the refinish process; advises production supervisor as required
• Ensures all paint deficiencies are corrected through wet sand and polishing (runs, dirt nibs, etc.)
• Prep surface for paint using hand and power tools
• Reviews damage reports of the repairs to be completed
• Surface preparation, vehicle masking, priming, and top coating
• Accurately mixes paint to ensure quality colour match and applies to repaired or replaced body panel
• Applies new knowledge and skills to achieve a high level of quality and productivity, directly contributing to KPI’s (Sales/CP/EBITA/BHPD/NPS)
• Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performance

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years previous Auto Body Paint Refinishing experience in a collision repair facility refinish role

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Red Seal Certification is preferred
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)
• PPG Certification preferred

• Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Must provide your own tools
• Valid driver’s license required

$90,000 - $140,000 per year

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education, and experience.
