Rutherford Contracting is searching for an organized and knowledgeable Health and Safety Coordinator to uphold safety regulations in construction projects. You will oversee safety documentation, conduct inspections, and facilitate training initiatives ensuring all team members comply with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and programs

• Perform weekly site inspections and compliance audits

• Maintain health and safety documentation rigorously

• Support field staff with guidance on safety practices

• Lead safety trainings and develop awareness campaigns

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in relevant fields

• At least 2 years in health and safety within construction

• Proficiency in understanding OHSA legislation

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
