Part-Time Math and Science Teacher Tutor

Join Oxford Learning Aurora as a part-time Math and Science Teacher Tutor. You'll empower high school students in grades 9-12 while leveraging pre-planned lessons in a supportive, fun environment.

This role is ideal for motivated individuals passionate about mathematics and science, with a Bachelor’s degree or similar certification. Teacher-tutors assist students from diverse backgrounds, helping them grasp complex concepts like Algebra, Trigonometry, and Physics. Availability during evenings and Saturdays is essential, as you'll work directly with students in person, and commitment through the term is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach up to three students simultaneously at different levels

• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and lesson structures

• Complete daily student communication and updates

• Maintain professionalism and friendliness in interactions

• Fill in post-lesson notes to track student progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification required

• Experience tutoring high school math and science

• Strong communication skills in English

• Knowledge of current curriculum for grades 9-12

• Ability to multitask effectively with multiple students
