Teach Japanese Language in York Region

Qualified educators are sought for the 2026/2027 school year, with a focus on Indigenous Language and International Languages instruction. Candidates must possess OCT certification and should be fluent in Japanese, alongside experience in language teaching to enhance student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective language curricula

• Ensure a safe and supportive classroom environment

• Cultivate equity and inclusion among students

• Report on student progress to parents and administrators

• Assist in supervising students during activities

Requirements:

• Ontario College of Teachers certification is mandatory

• Fluency in Japanese necessary for teaching

• Previous language teaching experience preferred

• Credentials for Intermediate and/or Senior teaching levels

• Commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in education
