Become an Interactive Coach at Oxford Learning Aurora, specializing in math and science education! This part-time role is dedicated to nurturing students' academic abilities and self-confidence.
You will Tutor-Teacher in person, providing support during after-school and Saturday hours. With responsibilities including teaching up to three students simultaneously, using Oxford Learning's structured methods, you will help each student achieve their potential in challenging subjects like Advanced Functions and Chemistry. Your expertise will be essential in fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach multiple students at various levels of understanding
• Follow structured lessons and philosophies
• Provide insightful post-lesson feedback
• Maintain clear communication with students and parents
• Create a welcoming atmosphere
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
• Experience with grades 9-12 tutoring
• Strong foundational knowledge in math and science
• Effective multitasking abilities for various needs
• Proficient written and spoken English skills
