Coach , reporting to the Director of Academics.

The Mathematics Coach provides individualized and small-group academic support to Upper School students. Working closely with the Director of Academics in the Guided Learning Centre, the coach helps students strengthen their understanding of course material, build confidence, develop effective study habits, and improve problem-solving skills in senior-level mathematics courses.

Candidates preferably hold a Bachelor of Education with senior math credentials. The ideal candidate will have outstanding academic credentials and be able to guide students at a variety of levels, from Middle School through to Grade 12 Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, and Data Management.

Candidates may include current or retired educators, graduate students in mathematics or related disciplines, or professionals with significant experience teaching or supporting senior-level mathematics.

The ideal candidate is able to build positive relationships with adolescents, explain mathematical concepts clearly, and inspire confidence and resilience in student learners.

This part-time role provides guidance to students on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, 3:45 to 5:15 p.m., and Wednesday, 2:45 to 4:15 p.m.

Compensation: $75 per hour.
