Enhance mathematical understanding and confidence as a Mathematics Coach rew's College. This part-time position is dedicated to providing essential support for students in senior-level math courses.
St. Andrew's College is seeking a Mathematics Coach who will assist Upper School students in their mathematical studies. Reporting to the Director of Academics, you will engage with students to help them grasp complex topics, improve their study habits, and tackle challenges in mathematics. Candidates should preferably have a Bachelor of Education and experience guiding students across various levels, especially in Advanced Functions and Calculus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personalized coaching in mathematics
• Support student comprehension of course material
• Encourage the development of problem-solving techniques
• Clarify mathematical principles effectively
• Build positive relationships with students
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education with senior-level math credentials
• Strong mathematics background with proven teaching skills
• Ability to promote resilience and confidence
• Experience with diverse student groups
• Availability to meet coaching hours
