Join YORK CATHOLIC DISTRICT SCHOOL BOARD as a full-time ABA Associate, focusing on applying ABA strategies for students with behavioral challenges. Collaborate with Behavior Analysts to enhance student support.
This permanent position under the OSSTF PSSP 2 union seeks a qualified individual to implement ABA programming. Candidates should possess practical experience and a postgraduate diploma in Autism and Behavioural Science. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing management plans, and providing direct support to students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather data to monitor student progress
• Implement behaviour assessments and interviews
• Create and execute behaviour management plans
• Train and coach students in essential skills
• Consult with teams on student safety and self-regulation
Requirements:
• Postgraduate diploma in relevant field
• 2-3 years experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis
• Knowledge of data collection and intervention plans
• Experience with Behaviour Skills Training or similar methods
• Criminal record check required for employment
