Role OverviewThis is a new, permanent position within the global IT Sourcing & Vendor Management department. As the Manager, you will join a global team spanning North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. You will act as the regional representative for the Vendor Management team, supporting regional and global IT contracts across corporate, group, and divisional locations.
The core focus of this role is Software Procurement, specifically negotiating and managing large, complex software licensing and framework agreements.
Main Responsibilities- Procurement Lifecycle: Facilitate and oversee the end-to-end IT procurement lifecycle process.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead commercial and contract negotiations for regional and global IT accounts.
- RFx Management: Own and execute the RFx process from requirement gathering to vendor selection.
- Vendor Management: Drive vendor performance and manage strategic partner relationships.
- Spend Analytics: Utilize category spend analytics to identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimize value.
- IT Procurement Expertise: Proven subject matter expertise in IT procurement, with a heavy emphasis on the Software category
. - Complex Software Licensing: Extensively demonstrated experience (ideally 10+ years) navigating complex software licensing, framework agreements, and high‑volume purchasing.
- Contracting Prowess: Strong background negotiating large‑scale contracts across various IT categories (hardware, software, services, and communication).
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree specifically in Computer Science or Engineering

- Industry
Experience:
7–10 years of direct work experience specifically within the field of IT procurement. - Certifications: A Supply Chain Management degree or professional procurement certification.
- Language
Skills:
Professional proficiency in German (written and oral) is considered a strong asset.
- Salary Range: $110,000 – $135,000 base per annum (commensurate with experience).
- Bonus: 15% annual performance bonus potential.
- Work Model: Hybrid (3 days on‑site, Mon‑Wed, in Aurora, ON
, 2 days remote). - Vacation & Time Off:
