You will create and manage GIS data, ensuring accurate integration with BI systems. Your responsibilities include configuring web maps and conducting maintenance to optimize YRP's ArcGIS environment. By applying QA/QC principles, you will enhance data quality and collaborate with external partners for improved GIS technology implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Update and maintain geodatabases for GIS projects
• Create user-friendly web maps using various programming languages
• Oversee the public safety data portal and open data site
• Execute spatial analyses as per project requirements
• Gather project requirements and implement map requests
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geomatics, or Computer Science
• Three years of relevant experience with GIS data
• Skilled in ESRI applications, particularly ArcGIS Online
• Understanding of spatial ETL tools like FME
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams
Support innovative GIS solutions to enhance public safety engagement at YRP.
