Onsite - 5 Days per Week Acara Solutions is currently recruiting for an Operations Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of our client in Aurora, , warehouse, and production teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in purchasing, supplier management, inventory optimization, and supporting production through efficient procurement , negotiate, and purchase Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) materials, office supplies, and plant-related products.

-Analyze purchase requirements and ensure purchasing requests are accurate and complete.

-Collaborate with internal departments to clarify specifications and purchasing needs.

-Source and evaluate new suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.

-Issue purchase orders and manage supplier relationships.

-Resolve purchasing, delivery, and supplier issues in a timely manner.

-Maintain purchasing records, pricing databases, and supplier information.

-Monitor inventory levels and work with warehouse and operations teams to ensure material availability while minimizing excess inventory.

-Support cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and vendor consolidation.

-Participate in supplier approval processes and procurement compliance activities.

-Prepare monthly purchasing reports and assist with inventory counts.

-Provide backup support for production scheduling when , procurement, or buying experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

-Experience purchasing MRO materials, production supplies, or indirect commodities is considered an asset.

-Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, and supplier performance.

-Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

-Experience working with ERP systems is considered an asset.

-Currently enrolled in, or willing to work toward, a PAC Packaging Certificate is considered an asset.

-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing , inventory management, supplier relations, and production support.
