Magna Golf Club, one of Canada’s most exclusive private clubs, is seeking a Clubhouse Housekeeper to join our Facilities team. If you have a great “all hands-on-deck” attitude, take initiative, and are eager to learn, we want to hear from you.
What We Are Looking For- Candidates MUST have flexible full-time availability and be able to work a variety of shifts including day, evening and weekend shifts.
- Experience in housekeeping services.
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and supervisors.
- Detailed and service oriented professional.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Good communication skills.

- Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- Vacuum all floors and carpets on the main floor daily.
- Dust all furniture and decorative pieces throughout the building regularly.
- Clean and sanitize main floor washrooms including sweeping and mopping floors, restock all paper products, towels and soap daily and maintain throughout the day in intervals based on member traffic.
- Empty all waste baskets, recycling and paper shredders daily throughout the building.
- Vacuum, dust, clean and disinfect lower and upper offices daily.
- Clean all interior and exterior windows regularly.
- Clean and maintain brass railing daily.
- Clean and sanitize all staff areas, including fridge, counters bathrooms etc.
- Deep clean building during off season, entire clubhouse building and maintenance building including ceilings, walls, chandeliers, baseboards, wainscoting, furniture, venting and floors.
- Grout clean, with machine, all grout in laundry room, staff room, staff hallway, lower kitchen, dish pit area and grille room, give away rooms and grille hallway.
- Launder men’s and lady’s locker room and back shop towels as needed throughout the day.
- Cleaning and setup of suites as required and regularly light clean in between use including dusting, vacuuming running of the water in tubs.
- Launder all chef jackets, aprons, linens, hand towels and sheets.
- Fold all laundry and return to appropriate locations.
- Launder and fold kitchen rags as needed.
- Hand Iron chef jackets as needed.
- Put all linens through the flat iron and hang on appropriate racks.
- Clean, sweep and mop maintenance building daily including staff rooms, washrooms, lunchroom and kitchen.
- Vacuum, clean and dust maintenance building office twice weekly during golf season and once a week during off season.
- Clean wainscoting, staircase and railing to suites and interior light fixtures throughout the building regularly to ensure no dust build up.
- Clean elevator walls and doors as needed with 3M Stainless Steel Cleaner
- Water all patio planters during golf season daily ensuring they don’t dry out.
- Wipe down all interior doors including staff entrance, back shop entrance, loading dock and kitchen doors weekly.
- Occasional cleaning or ironing of members’ clothes upon request.
- Assist maintenance department as required or requested.
- Complete any other task requested by management.
