In this vital role, you will manage the physical plant, oversee maintenance of building systems, and supervise staff. Your expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and equipment maintenance will play a crucial part in promoting safety. You will also be responsible for supply ordering, conducting inspections, and leading health and safety initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee maintenance of building systems and furniture
• Manage supply sourcing for cost-effective quality
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections regularly
• Develop comprehensive maintenance schedules
• Supervise Environmental Services Assistants
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in maintenance or housekeeping leadership
• High school diploma;
Healthcare diploma is an asset
• Proficient in light carpentry and plumbing
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to be on-call
