Position: Short-term Contract, Full-time, 35 Hours per Week, Evening Hours and Weekends may be required. Beginning June 1, 2026 and ending September 11, 2026.

Salary Range: $49.69-$60.23 per hour. Candidate experience considered when determining salary.

Location: The Director of Services is expected to work out of the following major CMHA‑YRSS offices and may be required to travel to other CMHA Offices, community centres, and other locations throughout York Region and South Simcoe as required.

The Director of Services provides overall support and management of programs and services offered by CMHA. In this role, you will participate as a member of the leadership team and will be responsible for identifying, establishing and developing community services. The Director will lead program development and innovation for assigned program areas. The Director will explore best practices in service delivery and lead change management strategies for continuous quality improvement.

This position will engage communities to build a strong mental health and addiction system in York Region and South Simcoe. They will contribute to the agency’s corporate management agenda by providing strong strategic leadership for all aspects of mental health services. The Director of Services will work in strategic collaboration with the leadership team, to drive performance, sustain high levels of employee engagement, and develop and sustain a leadership culture across the organization that aligns with and achieves the agency’s strategy, mission, vision and values.

In addition to compliance with all organizational policies and procedures, the Director is also expected to behave ethically, demonstrate competence in effective communication and team building, demonstrate effectiveness in working in a collaborative environment, and demonstrate confidence in decision‑making and in building relationships.
