Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule resident care activities in compliance with applicable legislation.
- Maintain an atmosphere conducive to optimal health and welfare of residents and staff.
- Respond to resident or family member concerns, taking appropriate action within decision‑making authority or escalating to the Administrator.
- Report complaints and concerns to the MLTC director as required.
- Investigate and complete required follow‑up for any concerns and complaints brought forward.
- Coordinate the Annual Care Conference Program.
- Ensure the highest standard of resident care and quality of life through development and maintenance of appropriate care plans, effective supervision of nursing staff, provision of required equipment and supplies, and appropriate staffing patterns, nursing services, policies, and procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant management experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Long Term Care.
- Current certificate of competence with the provincial College of Nursing as a Registered Nurse.
- Post‑secondary education in nursing, nursing administration or gerontology.
- Diploma or certificate in organizational management.
Salary Range: $ - $ per year, placement based on qualifications and experience.
