Become a Registered Practical Nurse at Age Care and enhance resident care through professional nursing services. Work collaboratively within a supportive healthcare environment.
In your RPN role, you will deliver nursing care aligned with Age Care's high standards. Collaborate with Registered Nurses to implement vital policies, while maintaining liaisons with physicians to monitor resident health. You'll provide valuable direction to Personal Support Workers, ensuring that care needs are met efficiently and effectively throughout your shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and follow Age Care policies and procedures
• Maintain communication with healthcare team members
• Ensure all resident care needs are addressed
• Direct activities of Personal Support Workers for caregiver support
• Participate in shift reports for consistent updates
Requirements:
• Knowledge of long-term care and geriatric nursing
• Understanding of applicable health regulations and laws
• Valid Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses of Ontario
• Active membership with the College of Nurses
• Passion for delivering quality care to residents
