Your collaboration with the Registered Nurse ensures compliance with Age Care’s policies, while your expertise supports seamless communication with physicians and the healthcare team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring all residents' care needs are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Age Care policies and assist with procedural revisions
• Notify physician of significant resident status changes
• Collaborate with healthcare team on care delivery
• Guide Personal Support Workers in care provision
• Ensure effective communication during shift reports
Requirements:
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Knowledge of relevant health care regulations
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses
• Membership in good standing with the College of Nurses
• Strong leadership and communication skills
