Geriatric Nursing: Registered Practical Nurse

In this role, you will be pivotal in nursing care delivery, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will implement Age Care’s policies and contribute to the well-being of residents by coordinating with the healthcare team. Your expertise will ensure that residents receive tailored care to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement nursing policies and assist in revisions as needed
• Notify physicians of significant changes in residents
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to meet care objectives
• Direct Personal Support Workers in providing care
• Share resident condition updates during shift reports
Requirements:
• Strong background in geriatric and rehabilitation nursing
• Knowledge of relevant health laws and regulations
• Current nursing certification from the College of Nurses
• Active membership in the College of Nurses
• Excellent communication and supervisory skills
