Age Care is seeking a qualified RPN to provide professional nursing services in long-term care settings. You'll implement policies, liaise with health professionals, and ensure high-quality care for residents. Your expertise in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing will assist in meeting residents' needs while fostering meaningful relationships within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Age Care policies with Registered Nurse collaboration
• Provide input for procedure revisions on the unit
• Liaise with healthcare team members and external partners
• Notify physicians of significant resident status changes
• Direct Personal Support Workers on care tasks
Requirements:
• Knowledge in geriatric and long-term care nursing
• Understanding of relevant healthcare acts and regulations
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in team settings
