In this role, you will provide essential nursing services, work closely with Registered Nurses, and oversee the Personal Support Workers to ensure seamless care delivery. Your input in policy implementation and active participation in shifts are vital for maintaining community standards and addressing any significant changes in resident health.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high-quality nursing care for all residents
• Collaborate with team members to implement care protocols
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals and external partners
• Supervise Personal Support Workers in resident care
• Lead shift report discussions on resident needs
Requirements:
• Hold a valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Proven experience in rehabilitation or long-term care
• In-depth understanding of nursing regulations and standards
• Active membership with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Familiarity with health discipline and safety acts
