Become a vital part of Age Care as a Registered Nurse, delivering high-quality resident care. Collaborate with the healthcare team and ensure safety and ethics in a supportive environment.
As a Registered Nurse, you will report to the Director of Care, focusing on individual resident needs. Utilize your nursing skills in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings to promote health and safety. You will also be responsible for accurate documentation and the implementation of physician orders to ensure residents receive optimal care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate nursing services for residents effectively
• Lead shift reports, informing the healthcare team
• Document significant changes in residents' conditions
• Process physician orders promptly and accurately
• Communicate challenges in processing orders to leadership
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Registration in good standing with provincial registry
• Sound knowledge of long-term care regulations
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
• Understanding of health and safety legislation
