As a Registered Nurse reporting to the Director of Care, you will integrate your clinical skills in delivering safe, ethical nursing services to residents. This position requires a firm understanding of aging principles and the Long-Term Care Act. Your contributions will enhance the culture of teamwork and quality care, ensuring respect for residents' individuality and rights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate nursing and support services for residents
• Lead shift reports ensuring team communication
• Document significant resident condition changes
• Process and implement physician orders promptly
• Report difficulties in processing orders to management
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Geriatric or long-term care nursing experience
• Knowledge of Health Disciplines and Long-Term Care Regulations
• Active registration with provincial nursing registry
• Strong commitment to resident care and safety
