Serpa Motor Sports Powersports & Marine is a fast-growing, award-winning dealership specializing in Yamaha, Honda, and Suzuki motorcycles, ATVs, side‑by‑side, Wave Runners, marine products, and more. We are seeking a driven, organized, and customer‑focused Assistant Sales Manager to help lead our high‑performance sales team and support our expanding dealership operations.
Position Overview
The Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager in overseeing all aspects of the retail sales process, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maximizing sales volume, profitability, and team performance. This individual will coach the sales team, maintain showroom standards, and assist in driving the continued growth of one of Ontario’s top powersports retailers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
Assist in managing day‑to‑day sales floor operations.
Support, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets.
Lead by example through strong product knowledge and customer engagement.
Assist with pricing, deal structuring, and closing when required.
Customer Experience
Ensure every customer receives an outstanding and transparent buying experience.
Handle escalations professionally and provide solutions promptly.
Oversee test rides, deliveries, and follow‑up processes.
Maintain showroom presentation and inventory merchandising standards.
Inventory & Operations
Support inventory management, including unit placement, tagging, and accuracy.
Coordinate with service and parts departments for unit preparation and accessory installations.
Assist in managing and tracking sales documentation and compliance.
Monitor sales KPIs and prepare daily/weekly activity reports.
Marketing & Events
Assist with dealership events, demo days, promotions, and digital content.
Support social media initiatives and customer outreach campaigns.
Help maintain an active presence within the powersports community.
Qualifications
2+ years of sales experience in powersports, automotive, marine, or similar retail environment.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset.
Strong passion for motorcycles, ATVs, marine products, and the powersports lifestyle.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, seasonal retail environment.
Valid motorcycle licence (M2 or M) preferred.
Ability to work Saturdays during peak season.
