Security Guard

Position: Full-Time Security Guard
Become a vital part of Commissionaires Great Lakes as a Full-Time Security Guard in Aurora, Ontario. Ensure safety and monitor visitors effectively within the facility.

This role with Commissionaires Great Lakes requires commitment to client and employee needs, fostering loyalty and success. As a Security Guard, you will perform duties such as monitoring cameras, issuing badges, and responding to alarms. Excellence in communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are crucial for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor camera feeds for security oversight

• Ensure visitors and contractors sign in and wear badges

• Deny access to unauthorized individuals

• Report unsecured doors or other conditions

• Complete daily status reports on shift activities

Requirements:

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License required

• First Aid and CPR certification required

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods

• Must complete York Regional Police Security Clearance
