Position: York Hills Respite Worker - Flexible Hours

As a Respite Worker with York Hills, you'll work collaboratively with a dedicated team to support children and youth facing complex challenges such as anxiety and attention difficulties. You will craft personalized activities and provide interventions that cater to their emotional and developmental needs. The position offers you the chance to travel within York Region while making meaningful connections with families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored one-on-one support to children

• Plan and supervise engaging social activities

• Assess children’s emotional needs for best care

• Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team

• Ensure a safe and stimulating environment

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Child and Youth Work or equivalent

• 1-2 years of direct support experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle

• Vulnerable Sector Screening Check within 180 days
