In this permanent full-time role, you will engage with children and their families, fostering trust and safety in a home-like setting. Key responsibilities include implementing treatment plans in a multidisciplinary team and ensuring compliance with agency standards. You will contribute to clients' transitions into adult living while facilitating activities that support their emotional and social needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote agency’s Mission, Vision, and Values
• Develop rapport with children and youth
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment
• Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation
• Facilitate group therapy and house meetings
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields
• One year experience in a milieu setting
• Certification in Crisis Intervention
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ontario Class G Driver’s License
