Group Fitness Instructor II Aqua Fitness

Contract, Part-Time $32.57 to $36.78

The Town of Aurora is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for a position of Group Fitness Instructor to teach Aqua fitness.

• Current basic Water
  
  ART Aquatic Fitness Instructor Certification, and/or specialty certification.
• Valid Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification.
• Availability to work flexible hours including daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact courteously and effectively with all levels of staff, program participants and the public.
• Experience in the delivery of Aqua fitness, understanding the principles of water, and the ability to instruct safe classes for all levels of participants is preferred.
• Successful applicants will be required to provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check satisfactory to the Town prior to start date, at the applicant’s own cost.
• The position offers an hourly wage starting at $22.00 to $33.00, pending qualifications.
