Pay:
$24.00–$26.00/hour
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Materials Coordinator to support warehouse and production operations at a manufacturing facility in Aurora.
This is a hands-on material handling position responsible for keeping production supplied with raw materials, moving finished goods into the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring all inventory movements are accurately recorded in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
The successful candidate will be comfortable operating various types of material handling equipment and working in a fast-paced production environment where safety, accuracy, and keeping materials moving are critical.
Key Responsibilities
Material Supply to Production
Retrieve pallets of raw materials, including paper products, plastic wrap, cardboard packaging, and other production materials.
Transport materials from the warehouse to designated production staging areas.
Ensure production lines receive materials on time to prevent delays or stoppages.
Respond to replenishment requests from production throughout the shift.
Verify the correct product, quantity, and condition of materials before delivery.
Finished Goods & Warehouse Movement
Collect completed pallets of finished goods from the production area.
Transfer finished goods to designated warehouse locations.
Place pallets safely in assigned rack or floor locations.
Ensure products are transported and stored without damage.
WMS & RF Scanner Responsibilities
Scan and transact all material movements using an RF scanner and WMS.
Issue materials to production orders according to WMS pick lists.
Maintain accurate inventory locations throughout the shift.
Complete cycle counts and inventory checks when required.
Maintain accurate records of materials supplied to production and finished goods received.
Shipping & Receiving
Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks at the loading dock.
Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and shipping documentation.
Identify and report shortages, overages, or damaged products.
Stage incoming materials in the appropriate receiving areas.
Process receipts accurately in the WMS.
Prepare outbound shipments and verify product, quantity, and load integrity.
Communicate professionally with drivers and carriers.
Equipment Used
Candidates may be required to operate:
Counterbalance Forklift
Clamp Truck
Electric Pallet Jack
Manual Hand Pump Truck
Operators are responsible for completing pre-operational equipment inspections, reporting equipment issues, and following all site operating procedures.
Forklift certification and site-specific training will be provided. Previous certification and equipment experience are considered assets.
Qualifications & Experience
Preferred:
Previous warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or food-safety manufacturing experience.
Previous forklift or material handling equipment experience.
Experience using WMS and/or RF scanners .
Clamp truck experience is a significant asset.
Previous shipping and receiving experience.

Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Able to communicate effectively with warehouse, production, shipping and receiving teams.
Able to work with accuracy while maintaining a sense of urgency.
Physically capable of performing warehouse duties throughout a full 8-hour shift.
Safety Requirements
Employees must follow all facility health and safety procedures, including forklift and pedestrian traffic rules.
Required PPE may include:
Hearing protection
Gloves
Beard nets, where applicable
Employees are expected to immediately report safety hazards, near misses, equipment damage, inventory issues, or other operational concerns.
Compensation
$24.00–$26.00 per hour , depending on relevant warehouse, equipment, WMS, and material handling experience.
