Job DescriptionPCI is seeking an experienced Drywall Estimator for its PCI Denver 583 operations based in Aurora, CO.
Responsibilities- Perform quantitative takeoffs on construction projects.
- Establish labor productivities for estimates.
- Maintain positive relationships with area vendors for competitive material and equipment pricing.
- Solicit subcontractor pricing for work done outside of our self‑performing group.
- Understand the market conditions including competitive approach, backlog, level or risk for work, and other factors for establishing margin percentages.
- Involvement in internal bid reviews with supervisors and project teams.
- Participate in customer alignment objectives by creating and maintaining positive customer relations.
- Contract administration for secured projects.
- Utilize wage and benefit schedules.
- Hand off secured projects to the Operations team.
- Assist in other duties as assigned such as change order management or billings depending on the project(s).
- Support other members of the Estimating team for product line collaboration.
This position is safety-sensitive.
Basic Requirements- At least 3 years of experience estimating construction projects.
- Experience with estimating/project management/managing drywall scopes of construction.
- Strong ability to read, understand and interpret specifications and drawings for PCI's scopes of work.
- Strong record of establishing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High level of attention to detail and cost analysis.
- Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.
- Proficiency with computer takeoff & estimating software such as On‑Screen Takeoff and Quickbid.
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, Blue Beam Revu, Procore, or Plan Swift.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline.
- Local to Denver metro area.
