Base pay: $15.70/hr - $20.20/hr.
Position OverviewCustomer Service Representative, Part‑time. Ongoing recruitment with rolling review. The role involves receiving and answering inquiries from the public by telephone, email, or in person on a wide range of district services. The position also handles point‑of‑sale transactions, program registrations, group reservations, passes, and admissions, and ensures facility rules and safety standards are followed. All hours of operation are considered: morning to evening, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities- Provide superior customer service and handle inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Execute point‑of‑sale transactions and process program registrations.
- Enforce facility rules and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records and handle money responsibly.
- Professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of modern office procedures and equipment.
- Proficiency with computer software apps (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and manage the public in a friendly, professional manner.
- Ability to handle customer complaints professionally.
- Minimum 16 years of age for assigned facility positions.
- Current AED/CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 60 days.
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Relevant work experience in public assistance, record‑keeping, or handling money.
