Seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a contract position for the current school year in Aurora, CO. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing tailored educational services that meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.

• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with state standards and student needs
• Collaborating with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create inclusive learning environments
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, adjusting instructional strategies accordingly
• Managing classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and support techniques
• Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Valid Colorado Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with K-12 students with a range of disabilities
• Strong understanding of individualized instruction and special education laws
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning styles
