Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with DOCS (Developing Our Clinical Skills) faculty to ensure clinical skills and clinical reasoning as taught in the pre-clerkship curricula are integrated into the clerkship curricula. Ensure communication, physical exam, and clinical reasoning are taught in the same manner; identify gaps and redundancies and determine areas where intentional repetition of material is needed within the specialty of each CCD.

Instructor

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited University.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain a faculty appointment at the rank of Instructor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Senior Instructor

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited University.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain a faculty appointment at the rank of Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Assistant Professor

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited University.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Associate Professor

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited University.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain a faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Professor

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited University.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain a faculty appointment at the rank of Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medical education and curriculum development
  • Experience working effectively with blended teams.
  • Demonstrate an interest in medical student education.

The starting salary range is up to $75,000 plus benefits or the equivalent of 0.3 FTE up to the educational salary cap of $250,000. Final offers will be capped at $250,000 annually and depend on the individual's current 1.0 FTE salary.
