QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Assistant Professor: board certified/eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine by the ABIM;
Advanced Fellowship in Heart Failure and Transplantation
Associate Professor: board certified/eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine by the ABIM;
Advanced Fellowship in Heart Failure and Transplantation
Professor: board certified/eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine by the ABIM;
Advanced Fellowship in Heart Failure and Transplantation
Preferred Qualifications:
Meaningful research background with ability and intention of developing a collaborative research program focused on heart transplantation and/or advanced heart failure; clinical skills in managing patients with advanced heart failure, including post-transplant and mechanical circulatory support; echocardiography and/or diagnostic cardiac catheterizations skills a plus; ability to contribute to education and research within the Division of Cardiology.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
Ability to independently manage patients with advanced heart failure, including those pending or following heart transplantation and those receiving mechanical circulatory support; clinical and research capabilities related to heart failure and transplant; contribution to training programs and academic activities.

CompensationStarting salary ranges (HIRING RANGE):
- Assistant Professor: $375,000 to $450,000
- Associate Professor: $450,000 to $500,000
- Professor: $500,000 to $550,000
