Position Overview

We are seeking a Secondary Mathematics Teacher for a school in the Aurora area. This role involves implementing daily instructional plans, maintaining a positive learning environment, and collaborating effectively with administrators and other teachers.

  Tuesday–Friday, 32 student contact hours per week (paid for 40 hours)
• Duration:
  Full school year
• Pay Rate: $44/hour
• Subjects:
  Pre‑Algebra, Algebra, Algebra Honors

• Implement daily instructional plans effectively
• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth
• Establish rapport with students and maintain proper classroom management
• Collaborate with building administrators and other teachers

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
• Valid Colorado teaching certificate (Mathematics – Secondary) required
• Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Current CPR, TB questionnaire, and health certificate if applicable
• Must be at least 18 years of age
