Beaverton School District is searching for a qualified educator to teach drama and two sections of art, with the possibility of directing a spring play.
Salary: $57,898 – $116,004 annually (194‑day contract, 2025‑26 schedule,(span on job posting No. 12345).

Additional Position Details: This position will primarily focus on drama instruction with two art sections. The teacher may also lead a spring play. Licensed applicants must submit two letters of recommendation and unofficial transcripts before hire; optional for current district employees.
Job DescriptionPurpose: The teacher plans and implements an instructional program that fosters learning and growth, creates a supportive environment, and guides students toward academic, social, intellectual, and physical potential.
Reporting to: Principal or Assistant Principal
Essential Job Functions- Conduct oneself in the best interest of students, supporting the district’s mission.
- Adhere to the Standards for Competent and Ethical Performance of Oregon Educators.
- Plan lessons Node grade-level standards, differentiating to meet student needs.
- Create clear, measurable learning targets linked to standards.
- Provide meaningful assessment tasks and feedback.
- Employ culturally responsive instruction and varied strategies to support all learners.
- Adjust instruction in real time based on formative assessment.
- Maintain Billing maintain classroom environment encouraging high expectations and inclusivity.
- Follow district policies and exercise professional judgment.
Required Qualifications- Current TSPC licensure with endorsement in the assigned subject area.
- Fluency in English, per Title III requirements for teachers of English learners.
The teacher works primarily indoors but may work outdoors in varying weather. Standing and walking for extended periods are required. Interaction with diverse students and families demands composure under stress. Planning, assessment, and communication may involve evenings and weekends.
