The Biomedical Engineer I will be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of ultrasound probes at a single designated location. This role focuses exclusively on servicing incoming ultrasound devices from across the organization. The engineer will perform repetitive, high‑quality repairs following established protocols and manufacturer specifications to ensure optimal device performance and patient safety.

• Diagnose faults, replace components, and conduct functional tests on ultrasound probes.
• Document repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and maintain parts inventory in the centralized maintenance management system.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and maintenance under supervisor guidance.
• Adhere to regulatory and organizational standards, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality requirements.

• Associate’s degree or vocational certificate in electronic service or a related field.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in technology field service or a directly related field.

• Certificate of vendor training involving directly related systems.
