Mechanical Engineer - Mechanical Servicing Company - Base Salary up to 150k / year - Denver, CO

• Our client, a stable, fast-growing mechanical servicing company, has an immediate need for a Mechanical Engineer. Our client has been in business for over 50 years and has a stellar reputation in the industry. They are a continually growing company, and they are looking to add an experienced Mechanical Engineer to help them take this division to new heights!
• In this role, the Mechanical Engineer will be focused on designing and optimizing HVAC systems for commercial retrofit projects. In addition, the Mechanical Engineer will collaborate closely with project teams to evaluate building systems, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, and implement upgrades and control strategies that enhance overall building performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, structural, and building automation, to coordinate project designs and contribute to the preparation of schedules, budgets, and contracts.
• Conduct site assessments and technical evaluations of existing building systems to guide design strategies and enhance overall system efficiency.
• Perform detailed HVAC load calculations and design layouts for ductwork and piping to ensure systems meet project specifications.
• Manage the selection, scheduling, and specification of HVAC equipment while supporting the operations team with permit approvals and code compliance.
• Create comprehensive mechanical designs and prepare stamped construction documentation, including drawings and specifications, for assigned projects.

• Must be a registered Professional Engineer
• 6+ years of HVAC design experience, specifically in the Commercial MEP space
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit MEP
• Prior experience working on retrofit designs

• Base salary up to 150k / year
