Responsibilities- Development and fielding life cycle from initial concept definition through detailed design, development, and qualification testing and into fielding and customer support.
- Work on a small, tightly focused team to accomplish assigned tasking/milestones and work with key team members to ensure adherence to budgets, plans, and schedules.
- Support a team of systems engineers in accomplishing requirements traceability and capability definition in an iterative development environment.
- Review the outputs of systems analysis, ensuring the results can be used for the intended purpose.
- Support and attend technical inspection reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program.
- Work with radio frequency (RF) communications links and systems, algorithm prototyping/modeling, waveform design, and software‑defined radios.
- Support the development and fielding life cycle from initial concept definition through detailed design, development, and qualification testing in the field and at customer support locations.
- Work within a small, tightly focused team to accomplish assigned tasking/milestones.
- Support a team of systems engineers in accomplishment of requirements traceability, capability definition in an iterative development environment.
- Review the outputs of systems analysis, ensuring the results can be used for the intended purpose.
- Support and attend technical inspection reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program.
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with signal processing design and application.
- Experience with signal modulation application and communication links.
- Experience with software development (Python, C/C++ or related languages).
- Experience working on projects or programs consisting of ground-related systems engineering, software development, and IV&V functions.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued DOD TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain Special Access security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
- Experience using MATLAB, X‑MIDAS or related languages for algorithm prototyping and simulation.
- Experience with Agile principles, including Agile systems engineering practices and understanding of Agile roles.
- Experience designing and implementing algorithms on software‑defined radios.
- Experience developing with git and Jira, Python, and Java.
- Experience developing on Linux operating system and Redhawk.

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Benefits are dependent on the specific business unit and collective‑bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may also be eligible for short‑term or long‑term incentive compensation programs, depending on the level and whether the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement.
- Onsite:
Employees will work primarily onsite at the Aurora campus. The position may require travel as needed. - Role requires security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) handles the clearance process.
