Electrical Estimator

Base Pay Range

$140,000 – $200,000 per year.

We are a leading national contractor specializing in electrical construction, with deep experience in transmission, distribution, substations, EPC, and storm‑restoration work. We’re seeking a highly skilled Permanent Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The role focuses on high‑voltage substations, electrical transmission & distribution, and utility‑scale projects. Ideal candidates have experience with Bluebeam, Heavy Bid, or Accubid.

• Prepare detailed, accurate electrical estimates for construction projects based on technical drawings and specifications.
• Analyze and compute material costs, labor costs, and time frames.
• Utilize Bluebeam, Heavy Bid, or Accubid to create and modify electrical estimates.
• Evaluate and recommend electrical systems and products based on specifications, test data, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand scope and requirements.
• Review blueprints and electrical schematics for high‑voltage substations, transmission lines, and distribution projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical estimation, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Heavy Bid, or Accubid.
• Extensive knowledge of high‑voltage substations, electric power transmission, and EHV transmission lines.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, products, and the construction industry.
