We are a mission‑driven organization whose foundation is built by our vision, supported by our values and pillared by diversity, equity and inclusion.

  • Find work/life balance: We offer PTO, floating holidays, nine company paid holidays, a hybrid work environment, an Employee Assistance Program and a 401(k).
  • Be a part of something bigger and make an impact: We serve the underserved and most vulnerable populations in our community through access to quality and affordable health care. No matter what you do for Colorado Access, you are impacting our community and making a difference.

  • What you will do

We are looking for a MANAGER OF NCQA ACCREDITATION who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the position will look like.

    • Translates strategic decisions into structured workplans, workflows, crosswalks, and timelines executed by the Senior Accreditation Consultant and cross‑functional partners.
    • Designs and refines the operational model for NCQA readiness, including documentation standards, governance structures, meeting cadence, evidence templates, and audit preparation routines.
    • Anticipates operational barriers and proactively develops mitigation strategies to ensure timely, accurate, and complete accreditation execution. Guides team members in the use of structured process improvement and project management approaches, including Lean, Six Sigma, and A3 methodologies.
    • Establishes role clarity and ensures effective division of responsibilities, delegating day‑to‑day execution while maintaining ownership of tactical direction and overall readiness oversight.
    • Provides tactical leadership for NCQA accreditation work, serving as the primary point of coordination, problem‑solving, prioritization, and cross‑functional alignment.
    • Oversees development, preparation, and validation of NCQA evidence, including policies, program descriptions, program evaluations, meeting minutes, dashboards, and workplan documentation.
    • Ensures audit readiness across all NCQA standards, including completion of corrective actions, evidence updates, mock audits, and readiness reviews.
    • Partners with Operations, UM, PHM, Provider Network, Compliance, IT/Data, and Care Management to ensure evidence alignment and standard‑level compliance.
    • Develops and maintains NCQA tools and resources (e.g., evidence trackers, crosswalks, templates, dashboards) to support accreditation preparation and sustainment.
    • Summarizes accreditation progress, risks, and recommendations for leadership, offering clear tactical guidance.
    • Guides team members in structured process improvement approaches to strengthen accreditation workflows.
    • Promotes NCQA education and accreditation capability‑building across the organization.

Together we will be an innovative and collaborative team who supports each other, the employees and vision of the company to reach our goals individually, together and as an organization.
