The Purchasing and Inventory Specialist supports pharmacy operations by managing purchasing, inventory control, and automated dispensing systems across multiple pharmacy locations. This role ensures accurate inventory levels, cost‑effective purchasing, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted medication availability.

• Manage daily purchasing and inventory ordering for pharmacy locations
• Maintain accurate inventory records and improve inventory metrics
• Monitor medication expirations and rotate inventory as needed
• Coordinate inventory audits, transfers, and discrepancy resolution
• Manage Omnicell inventory, audits, user access, and system requests
• Track out‑of‑stock and short‑supply medications
• Generate inventory and expiration reports
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and USP storage guidelines
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff, vendors, and analysts

• High school diploma required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1+ year of inventory or procurement experience (pharmacy or healthcare preferred)
• Strong Microsoft Excel and inventory system skills
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical inventory and storage requirements
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Pay: $25–$30 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional Sunday rotation
• Travel: Up to 15%
