Summary
Leads the strategic, operational, and academic direction of the ultrasound education programs across all designated modalities. Ensures alignment with accrediting body standards and drives excellence in program delivery, compliance, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
The Director of the Ultrasound School plays a pivotal role in advancing the health system's educational and clinical objectives by:
- Accreditation Oversight
Secure and maintain all necessary consortium, state, and national accreditations to support licensure, regulatory compliance, and reimbursement eligibility.
- Curriculum Leadership
Design and continuously enhance curriculum for general, vascular, and echocardiography ultrasound programs to meet evolving clinical and educational standards.
- Quality Assurance in Education
Ensure students receive high-quality instruction and hands-on training that meets or exceeds accrediting body requirements.
- Systemwide Educational Support
Collaborate with sonography educators to align pipeline and clinical education programs across the health system. Facilitate additional training initiatives that strengthen sonography departments and workforce development.
- Program Administration and Compliance

Experience with the regulatory compliance, administration, and facilitation of Ultrasound and Echo-sonography Education Programs is required.
Candidate Qualifications
We're looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team-someone who brings both expertise and passion to the field of diagnostic medical sonography. To be considered, candidates must hold a Master's degree and have at least five years of relevant experience. Certification is essential: we require registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Adult (AE), along with vascular credentials such as Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) or Vascular Technologist (RVT).
