Physical Therapist

UCHealth is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for our outpatient setting. In this role, you will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients restore function, improve mobility, and manage pain. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, and document care in accordance with clinical standards. • Perform comprehensive outpatient physical therapy evaluations, including history, systems review, and objective measures to identify impairments and functional limitations
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based plans of care to address patient goals and functional outcomes
• Provide hands‑on treatment using therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re‑education, manual therapy, gait and balance training, and appropriate modalities
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, prognosis, home exercise programs, self‑management strategies, and injury prevention
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Document all evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely in the electronic medical record in accordance with UCHealth and regulatory standards
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and determine readiness for discharge or transition of care
• Meet established productivity, quality, and compliance expectations while maintaining high standards of patient‑centered care
• Participate in ongoing professional development, in‑service education, and quality‑improvement or clinical innovation projects within the department
• Support and mentor students or less experienced staff as appropriate, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative clinic culture aligned with UCHealth’s values

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) or eligibility for licensure prior to start date
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
• Clinical experience in outpatient orthopedics or sports rehabilitation (student rotations or professional experience)
• Preferred:
  Board certification in Orthopaedic, Sports, or Geriatric Physical Therapy (e.g., OCS, SCS, GCS)

  Certification in manual therapy, dry needling, or related advanced treatment techniques
