Cath Lab Tech
Cath Lab Technologists assist physicians during minimally invasive cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures. They prepare the catheterization lab, operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, scrub and circulate during procedures, monitor patients, and ensure the safe use of contrast media and radiation. They also assist with vascular access, maintain sterile technique, document procedures, and provide patient care before, during, and after cardiac and vascular interventions.
RequiredCertifications
- BLS
- ARRT (R)
- RCIS or RCES
- Must be eligible to obtain Colorado Fluoroscopy Operator (DORA) registration before start (if holding RCIS/RCES)
